Assignment context
As part of a digital and financial transformation project with a major organisation in the Romandy region, MDI Technologies is seeking an Expert Management Controller to ensure continuity of analytical management. The assignment covers cost-allocation control, analytical period-end closings and management reporting during a new ERP deployment. The selected candidate will work alongside internal Finance and Management Control teams. Provisional start no earlier than Q4 2026.
Your responsibilities
- Control of analytical cost allocations and budget flows
- Participation in periodic analytical period-end closings
- Monitoring and analysis of financial performance
- Production of monthly management reports and dashboards
- Support for budget construction, estimates and forecasts
- Transition documentation and ERP migration support
Essential skills
- Mastery of analytical accounting and management control principles (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
- Sound knowledge of financial information systems (asset: Oracle Business Suite, SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, automation)
- Ability to analyse and structure financial data
- University degree (HEC) in Economics, Finance or Accounting with complementary Management Control qualification
Desirable skills
- Experience in transformation environments (ERP migration, reorganisation)
- Proficiency in Oracle Business Suite, SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud
Education & experience
University degree (HEC) in Economics, Finance or Accounting, complemented by a Management Control qualification or equivalent
5+ years in analytical accounting and management control
